All Saints Day

Halloween means ' hallowed eve' (holyeve) it is on the 31st of october.Halloween is the night before All saints Day (1st November). On all saints day we pray for all those people that became Saints.On all Saints day we remember and pray for all those who died. It is on the second of november.

GreenScreen

We did a Greenscreen of Myst A green Screen is a program on the computer you Can only Use it if you have a Mac computer. A greenscreen is when you stand behind a green wall or any other wall just a wall mostly a green wall and you can put a background behind you and thats what we did but we did it for myst and we said a script aswel.

TALENT SHOW

On the 13th of November was the talent show My favourite one was Johrel Jake and Braidens And the funnyest One was Katie Taz Hallie and Kaylas one and Big Buts The Talent one was the Preps From Prep C Singing a song The talent show of 2009 was great.

COLES PLASTIC BAG CHALLENGE

The whole school had to do a plastic bag challenge for coles. The recycling bins group went around all classes every day and collected there bags are total was 1588 thousand plastic bags. and the goal was 3000 plastic bags.

MELBOURNE CUP DAY

On Melbourne Cup day are class all had a jockey witch we picked out of a raffle. My jockey was called Spin around we had to make a Hat or a tie and after we were finished the teacher had to judge the best hat or tie. In the afternoon everyone went into Mr D's room And watched the Melbourne cup it was grade 3 to grade 7 in the room the winner was Shocking but i haven't found out witch my jockey came.

CAMP GOODENOUGH RECOUNT

I went to Camp at Camp Goodenough on the 29th of October to the 30th of October. The teachers and parents came along to The teachers who came along were Mrs r Mr h Mr d Mrs A Mrs s Mrs A And the Parents who Came were Mrs T and Mr M.

Campgoodenough is in Bilambil New south Wales. I sat next to Ben On the bus there and sat with Jordyan The way back. It took us 1hour and thirty minutes to get there.

We went there to meet new friends and have fun to take challenges and to learn team skills.

the activities were the flying fox, it was really fun Mr Hansell went on it, the trivia night was fun,my team was called the smarties. the 45 teachers wrote the questions, we did team games in the hall as well. one of the games were called pass the hool-a-hoop.

When we got there we had hamburgers with vegetables and cordial. For dinner we had Beef lasagne and potato bake for dessert it was Pancakes ice-cream and maple syrup.The next days lunch was hot dogs and cordial.

My cabin was called EF and Jordan, Ben, Denzel,Billy,Charlie,Greg,Matthew,Sam,Noah,Callum were in it

STAND UP AGAINST POVERTY

Last Friday, our school joined over 173 million people around the world and STOOD UP Against POVERTY. We all met on the netball court and we asked students teachers and parents to stand up and take action. There was 401 at are school who stood up and took action.
